A Little Bit Foggy

People ask whether I ever get bored of paddling in the same place. My answer is no because the conditions differ, seasons change and new thoughts arise. Every time I paddle I am different and have changed slightly day on day…

This particular morning showed me perspective because we can never truly see what is ahead of us until it emerges into reality.

The thing is, I don’t recommend people paddle in fog, yet to me it provides a metaphor. Why do we have to know what is ahead. Can’t we enjoy what we can see and experience right where we are.

To me the fog was beautiful because there was less distraction. I could focus on what was near by and every so often something emerged from the fog that was a bit of a surprise…
